Background of Quality Management System
The ISO 9001 standard represents adoption of a process approach based on the 'Plan-Do-Check-Act' (PDCA) methodology. When used within a quality management system and implemented effectively, such an approach emphasizes the importance of:
(a) understanding and meeting requirements;
(b) the need to consider processes in terms of added value;

Who should attend
Personnel who are involved in the day-to-day operations and their areas of work could affect the deliverables of products and services. Top management or appointed Management Representative who are responsible for the effective maintenance and continual improvement of the system.
Background of Internal Auditor Training
The IQSA course is specially organised by House Of Quality Consulting Pte Ltd to help organisations train their auditors to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System's standard. As this training has been designed to meet the requirements of the ISO 19011, the skills obtained from this course will also benefit organisation's staffs that are involved in auditing and qualifying suppliers or sub-contractors.
This course is conducted by registered lead auditors with IRCA, UK and who have accumulated many years of conducting audits on various industries both in Singapore, Malaysia, Batam and in the region. With the practical exercise and live-audits specially arranged, the participants can appreciate the skills learnt through effective questioning, management and reporting of an audit.

This course is specially prepared to provide participants with comprehensive understanding of:
• The detail requirements of internal auditing in the ISO 9001quality management system standard.
• The requirements of auditing (compliance with ISO 19011) through value-added tutorials and case reviews.

Departmental personnel who are appointed as representative in the ISO committee and wish to understand how auditors approach an audit are also encouraged to attend.
Management Representative
ISO 9001 and other International Standards require appointing a Management Representative who is responsible for the implementing & maintaining of the company's system, interact with second and third parties that includes registrars, reporting on effectiveness of the implemented system to top management. At the end of this course, the participant will understand the roles and responsibilities of the Management Representative as well as applying continual improvement initiatives.
